Positive results, Positive feelings for TVR Last weekend showed how good the TVR team can be, and the entire team heads to Attwell Park Speedway with a positive frame of mind for this weekends round of the Champion Canopies Pro Dirt Series. It was all about the positives from last weeks round, both cars had the speed to run at the front of the field come final time, but the win wasn’t there. And the heat results reflected just how much speed they had. With Craig Vosbergen grabbing two strong heat race wins, and team mate Bert Vosbergen also showing his skill in his opening heat win at last weeks round in Manjimup, things are looking up for the Worldwide Construction Machinery/Racin Tyres & Accessories/Royal Wolf sponsored Rockets as they head down to Albany for the first time ever that the LMRA has competed on the tight quarter mile bull ring. “I’m looking forward to the Albany round’ Craig mentioned earlier this year. “From what a lot of the Sprintcar guys I talked to have said about the new banking at Atwell Park it sounds like an exciting place to race.” Bert not only wants a good feature race result, he needs one. But the veteran of too many years to mention knows he has the speed he just needs some luck, and if he gets some he will be one to watch come final time. It’s been a number of years since both drivers have raced there, back when they raced Super Sedans, but both will be salivating at the chance to compete with their awesome 430ci beasts at what is considered one of the best country venues in Western Australia. It will be an exciting time at Albany this weekend as Team VOS take on the best the LMRA has to offer in what will be a ground shaking weekend of sedan action, and you can bet that these two hardened competitors haven’t made the 400km journey down from Perth just to make up the numbers this weekend.
